The role is suited to an experienced HGV Class 2 driver who can complete local drops safely, reliably and professionally while helping maintain an efficient local service.The roleA temporary opportunity is available for an HGV Class 2 Driver to complete local drops in and around Gloucester. You will be responsible for driving safely, following planned routes and carrying out daily duties to a high standard.Key responsibilities• Complete local drops using an HGV Class 2 vehicle• Carry out pre-use vehicle checks and report any issues• Follow assigned routes, schedules and site procedures• Drive carefully and professionally at all times• Support loading, unloading and other reasonable operational duties• Maintain accurate paperwork and follow health and safety requirements• Deliver reliable service throughout each shiftSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence• Previous experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles• Experience completing local drops• Good knowledge of Gloucester and the surrounding area is useful• Safe, responsible and professional approach to driving• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently• Good communication skills• Physically able to carry out duties associated with the roleBenefits• Pay between £16 and £17 per hour• Day shifts• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity visible to local employers• Temporary work in GloucesterIf you are an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for temporary daytime work with local driving duties, this could be a suitable opportunity.Apply today.
