About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a
Business Services Administrator to join our client's team in Harlow on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a busy office environment and is looking to build a long-term career within a professional business.
The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and business support, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day processes and maintaining a high level of service to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and business support across the team.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, databases and documentation.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets and other business documents.
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence and enquiries.
- Assist with invoicing, purchase orders and general financial administration where required.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments and internal communications.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal departments professionally and effectively.
- Ensure all paperwork and systems are kept accurate and up to date.
- Support with day-to-day office management and business processes.
- Assist colleagues with ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects.
- Ensure deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard.
- Follow company procedures and contribute to continuous improvement across the business.
About You
The ideal candidate will be an organised, reliable and personable administrator who is comfortable working in a busy office environment.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an administration, business support or office-based role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
- A professional and positive attitude.
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
