Summary

The sign of a good business is how they treat staff and that is the case with this 5* housebuilder who’re looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their Commercial team to their Technical team in the Chester/N.Wales area. Over the last 18 months, there’s been numerous internal promotions that has seen many long-standing staff stepping up to Senior positions. And that could be the case with this Quantity Surveyor role – although they’ll look at someone with the experience they really aiming towards someone who is on the up in their career – either as an experienced Assistant/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor or someone who’s been doing the full Q.S. roles a couple of years. Someone looking to progress their career with the support and training from experienced Commercial personnel who’ve been in the business many years and want to help you establish your your housebuild career.

And it’s a great time to join with several new sites in North Wales, Chester and Macclesfield due to start in the next few months. The Director told me “we’re in a very stable position and it looks very positive for the rest of 2026” and with several sites due to come online in the Cheshire and North Wales area in 2027, the business in a top spot compared to other housebuilders out there. They have a five-year plan to get up to around 650 units and you’d join the business by working on various new and existing sites with the support from the Commercial Manager and Commercial Director.

Salary banding they’re keeping ‘competitive’ at the moment – it’ll really depend on where you’ve been before, what you’ve done, what you can bring to the business. But what they do offer is a fully comprehensive package including bonus, car allowance and a raft of benefits
