The people you’ll
support:
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our Oldham Common service based in Bristol, helping to oversee and deliver high-quality support. You will report into the Registered Manager, splitting your time between hands-on support and leadership/administrative tasks to ensure our service runs smoothly. This is a varied and rewarding role with plenty of opportunity to make an impact.
Many of the people we support have experienced trauma, exclusion, or services that haven’t worked for them. Your role will be to provide consistent, person-centred support, helping individuals build safer, more independent and fulfilling lives.
You’ll use Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches, follow support plans, encourage community participation, and support people with daily living, personal care and developing independence.
Oldland Common is a newly built service with six self-contained homes for adults with complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities and mental health needs.
Our aim is to help people move on from hospital settings, settle into the community, build independence and live meaningful lives
We’re looking for:
- Experience in a senior
- Confidence
- Full UK driving licence and own car
- Level 2 Health & Social Care (Level 3 desirable/working towards)
- Strong organisation and IT skills
- Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK

- Provide hands-on
- Review care plans, risk assessments, and records
- Liaise with families and professionals
- Step in to
support, including personal care and community activities
Support and guide team members across multiple locations
lead shifts and ensure high-quality, consistent
