Summary
Hanham Health is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking clinical team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. We are offering 4-6 sessions for this 12-month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, innovative training practice serving approximately 28,000 patients across four sites in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care whilst supporting staff wellbeing, professional development and flexible working. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive General Medical Services to our patient population and work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and responsive primary care services. Main Duties and Responsibilities Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations. Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Provide high-quality, patient-centred care in accordance with current best practice. Undertake home visits when clinically appropriate. Review and action clinical correspondence and laboratory results. Prescribe safely and effectively in line with local and national guidance. Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records using EMIS Web. Participate in safeguarding, clinical governance and quality improvement activities. Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, paramedics, physiotherapists and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Contribute to the achievement of Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) targets and wider practice objectives. Attend practice meetings, educational events and protected learning sessions. Support the teaching and training ethos of the practice where appropriate.
