Ambitions Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative with an FLT Counterbalance licence to join a busy and well-established manufacturing environment in Nottingham.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking
Yard Operative who is confident operating a Counterbalance Forklift and working in a busy outdoor yard environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
•
Operating a
Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
•
Loading and unloading deliveries
•
Moving and positioning materials around the yard
•
Preparing materials and goods for dispatch
•
Keeping the yard organised, clean and safe
•
Completing general yard and warehouse duties as required
•
Following all health & safety procedures and site rules
About You
The ideal candidate will:
•
Hold a
valid Counterbalance FLT licence
•
Have previous experience working in a yard, warehouse or manufacturing environment
•
Be confident operating an FLT in a busy environment
•
Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
•
Have a good understanding of workplace health & safety
•
Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
•
Be able to work well independently and as part of a team
