Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm

Job Type: Temporary with potential for permanent employment

Permanent Benefits: £250 attendance bonus

Ambitions Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Cold Store Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse environment in Nottingham.

This is a physically demanding role involving

heavy lifting, with products weighing between

7kg and 55kg, so candidates must be comfortable with manual handling and working in a cold storage environment.

The Role

As a Cold Store Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Working within a cold storage environment.

• Loading, unloading and moving stock around the warehouse.

• Picking and preparing products for dispatch.

• Handling products weighing between 7kg and 55kg.

• Operating FLT or Reach Truck equipment where required.

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely.

• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.

• Following health & safety and manual handling procedures.

• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working within a

cold store or chilled warehouse environment.

• Have previous

FLT or Reach Truck experience – a current licence is preferred but not essential if you can demonstrate relevant experience.

• Be physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting.

• Have good attention to detail.

• Be reliable and punctual.

• Be comfortable working as part of a busy warehouse team.

• Have a good attitude towards work and a willingness to get stuck in.

Working Hours & Pay

Monday – Friday | 7:00am – 4:00pm

There is a

1-hour unpaid break, split across three breaks: 15 minutes, 30 minutes and 15 minutes.

£12.71 per hour

The position is initially temporary with the potential to become

permanent for the right candidate. Once permanent, there is also a

£250 attendance bonus available.
