We are looking for a reliable and experienced Chef to prepare fresh, nutritious and appealing meals while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Main responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of fresh, nutritious meals.
Plan menus and ensure meals meet dietary requirements and preferences.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety.
Prepare ingredients and manage portion sizes appropriately.
Monitor food stock and minimise food waste.
Follow food safety, allergen and infection-control procedures.
Keep kitchen areas, equipment and utensils clean and organised.
Work professionally and respectfully with staff and the people being supported.
Ensure meals are presented attractively and served on time.
Maintain accurate records where required.
