The role is based at its Avonmouth site, supporting the safe and efficient movement of materials.The opportunityA temporary Yard Operative is required to support day-to-day activity within a busy industrial yard. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who works safely, follows instructions and takes pride in maintaining an organized working environment.Key responsibilities• Loading, unloading and moving materials safely around the yard• Preparing goods and equipment for collection or dispatch• Keeping storage and working areas clean, tidy and well organized• Checking items and reporting damage, shortages or other issues• Following site safety procedures and wearing the required protective equipment• Supporting colleagues with general yard and warehouse duties• Completing basic paperwork or records accurately where requiredSkills and qualifications• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, industrial or logistics environment is useful• A practical, reliable and safety-conscious approach• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures• Physically capable of carrying out manual work• Punctual, dependable and willing to work as part of a team• Basic spoken and written English• Relevant site, warehouse or forklift experience would be advantageous, but is not essentialBenefits• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersApply today.
