This temporary position would suit someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and can follow instructions carefully in a safety-focused environment.Key responsibilities• Loading, unloading and moving materials safely around the yard• Preparing items for storage, collection or dispatch• Keeping the yard, work areas and equipment clean and organised• Following site procedures and manual-handling guidance• Checking materials and reporting any damage or issues• Supporting colleagues with general yard duties as required• Working safely and responsibly at all timesSkills and qualifications• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, industrial or logistics environment is useful but not essential• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work• Able to work outdoors and remain active during the shift• Good awareness of health and safety procedures• Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team• Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions• A forklift or other relevant equipment qualification would be advantageous, but is not essential unless required for specific dutiesBenefits• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersAbout the companyThis organization operates in the chemical and ingredient distribution sector, providing products, services and practical solutions to a range of industries.
