The role supports the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials and would suit an experienced counterbalance forklift driver looking for reliable daytime work in the local area.The roleWe are looking for a dependable Forklift Driver to operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently during daytime shifts. You will help keep site operations running smoothly by moving, loading and unloading goods while following workplace procedures.Key responsibilities• Operate a counterbalance forklift in a safe and controlled manner• Load and unload vehicles and move materials around the site• Store goods in the correct locations• Complete routine equipment and safety checks• Follow site rules, manual handling procedures and health and safety requirements• Keep work areas tidy and report any hazards or issues• Work effectively as part of a teamSkills and qualifications• Current counterbalance forklift licence or recognised certificate• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift• Good awareness of workplace health and safety• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately• Reliable, punctual and comfortable with physical work• Good communication and teamwork skillsWhat’s on offer• £14 per hour• Temporary daytime work• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersApply today.
