A well-established fit-out contractor with a strong presence across Scotland is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a high-profile CAT B office fit-out project in Glasgow City Centre. Known for delivering high-quality commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects, the business has an excellent reputation for client satisfaction and project delivery.

Your new role

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a CAT B office fit-out in Glasgow City Centre. The project is due to commence with a soft start on 31st August, with works formally starting on 7th September and running through to approximately the end of January 2027.Your duties will include:

Managing site operations from inception through to completion

Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring programme deadlines are achieved

Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site

Conducting site meetings and liaising with project stakeholders

Monitoring quality throughout all stages of the fit-out

Ensuring works are delivered on time and within project specifications

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial fit-out projects

Strong CAT A and CAT B fit-out experience preferred

Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications

Excellent subcontractor management and communication skills

Ability to drive programmes and maintain quality standards

Available to start from the end of August / early September

Freelance experience and the ability to hit the ground running
