Your new role
As Senior Site Manager, you will take a leading role in the delivery of a landmark £90m secure government project in Renfrew. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors and drive programme, quality and safety performance throughout the construction phase.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site teams
- Maintaining the highest standards of health & safety
- Driving programme delivery and achieving key milestones
- Overseeing quality assurance, inspections and handovers
- Leading site meetings and working closely with stakeholders
- Supporting project reporting and planning activities
- Mentoring and developing junior members of the site team
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager with a reputable main contractor
- Strong track record delivering large-scale new build construction projects
- Ability to lead large site teams and multiple subcontract packages
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
- Sound knowledge of health & safety legislation and quality procedures
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
- Eligibility to obtain security clearance would be advantageous
