Its work includes collecting, consolidating, sorting and delivering freight, with services designed to support next-day delivery across the UK. The business operates through a regional depot network and handles a broad range of freight in line with appropriate transport and packaging requirements.The roleWe are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to support daytime delivery operations in and around Cheltenham. You will be responsible for completing deliveries safely, professionally and on time, while providing a reliable service at each stop.Key responsibilities• Complete retail store deliveries using an HGV Class 1 vehicle• Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts• Secure and handle freight safely• Follow planned routes, delivery instructions and site procedures• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records• Communicate professionally with transport teams and delivery sites• Comply with road safety, drivers’ hours and company requirementsSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 licence, Category C+E• Current Driver CPC qualification• Valid digital tachograph card• Previous experience with retail store deliveries• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers’ hours regulations• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused approach• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules• Good communication skills and a professional mannerBenefits• £17.00–£18.00 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Temporary daytime work• Opportunities visible to local employersIf you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for temporary daytime work in Cheltenham, apply today.
