This temporary daytime role is suited to a reliable driver who is confident completing local drops and providing a professional service.About the companyThis independent family-owned dairy business operates from Gloucestershire and is involved in processing, packing and distributing fresh dairy products to businesses and households. Its operations cover the collection, preparation, distribution and delivery of products, with a focus on customer service, responsible working and supporting local communities.Key responsibilities• Complete scheduled local drops safely and efficiently• Load, check and secure goods before departure• Deliver products to customers within agreed timeframes• Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects• Complete delivery paperwork accurately• Maintain a professional and helpful manner at all times• Follow relevant road safety, company and legal proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence• Driver CPC and tachograph card• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience• Experience completing local drops• Good knowledge of local roads and surrounding areas• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach• Good communication and customer service skills• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedulesBenefits• Pay of £16 to £17 per hour• Day shifts• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to work with a local employerApply today.
