Its operations focus on safe, compliant transport, temperature control, load integrity and professional delivery standards.The roleAn opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to support daytime transport operations in and around Stroud. You will be responsible for completing deliveries safely, efficiently and in line with legal and operational requirements.Key responsibilities• Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles on planned delivery routes• Completing vehicle checks before and after journeys• Loading and unloading goods safely, using a taillift where required• Securing loads and maintaining product integrity during transit• Completing delivery paperwork and recording relevant information• Communicating professionally with transport teams, sites and delivery contacts• Following road safety, company and customer proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence• Relevant professional driving experience• Experience using a taillift• Good knowledge of road safety and transport regulations• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach• Clear communication and professional customer service skills• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedulesBenefits• £17 to £18 per hour• Day shifts• Temporary work• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersIf you are a dependable HGV Class 1 Driver with taillift experience and are available for day work in the Stroud area, apply today.
