This temporary role supports daytime delivery work in and around Abertillery/Abertyleri. The position may suit someone with practical handball ability and experience supporting multi-drop deliveries.The roleWe are looking for a reliable Drivers Mate to support delivery operations on a temporary, daytime basis. You will work alongside the driver to help ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.Key responsibilities• Assisting with loading and unloading goods• Carrying out handball duties safely• Supporting multi-drop deliveries, including routes with more than 10 drops• Helping the driver with delivery checks and access to delivery points• Maintaining a professional and helpful approach when handling deliveries• Following site, vehicle and manual-handling proceduresSkills and qualifications• Previous experience with handball duties• Experience supporting multi-drop delivery work, particularly over 10 drops• Good physical fitness for loading, unloading and moving goods• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a two-person delivery team• A practical, safety-conscious approach• No formal qualifications are specified for this roleBenefits• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersThis is a temporary daytime position based in the Abertillery / Abertyleri area.
