The company supports the movement and delivery of potatoes and is seeking a dependable driver to help complete customer deliveries safely, efficiently and on time.The roleWe are looking for a Car/Van Driver to undertake daytime delivery work from the Abertillery area. This temporary position would suit a reliable and organised driver who is comfortable working independently and handling physical tasks as part of the delivery process.Key responsibilities• Driving a car or van on local and longer-distance delivery routes• Completing multi-drop deliveries, including more than 10 drops per day• Loading, unloading and moving goods by hand• Checking delivery details and ensuring items are delivered safely• Planning routes and managing time effectively• Maintaining a professional and helpful approach at each delivery• Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any issuesSkills and qualifications• Experience in handball or physically demanding delivery work• Experience of long-distance driving• Previous multi-drop experience, ideally involving 10 or more deliveries• Good route-planning and time-management skills• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious• Able to work independently during daytime shifts• Appropriate driving entitlement for the vehicle used• A positive and professional attitudeBenefits• £13 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Temporary daytime work• Opportunity visible to local employersIf you have the required delivery experience and are available for daytime temporary work, we would like to hear from you.Apply today.
