Ambitions Personnel are currently recruiting for a
Despatch Operative to join a busy and well-established warehouse in
Annesley. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly team with consistent weekday hours and an immediate start available.
Due to the location,
own transport is preferred, as public transport can be limited for the 6:00am start.
The Role:
As a Despatch Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared and dispatched on time. Duties will include:
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Preparing goods ready for despatch
- Labelling and scanning products
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Completing basic paperwork and using handheld scanners
- Carrying out quality checks on orders
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
- Working efficiently to meet daily targets
- Previous warehouse or despatch experience is desirable but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Own transport is preferred due to the location and early start time
