Luma Education Recruitment is seeking an experienced Health & Social Care Teacher to join a supportive school in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging, practical and inclusive lessons while helping students develop the knowledge and skills needed for further education, employment and careers within the health and social care sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and well-planned Health & Social Care lessons across relevant year groups and ability levels

Teach and support students working towards relevant vocational qualifications, including BTEC or equivalent programmes

Differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs and abilities

Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and support achievement

Develop students’ understanding of health, wellbeing, social care and related career pathways

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support students’ academic and personal development
