Primary Teacher – September 2026
Luma Education Recruitment is currently looking for a Primary Teacher to work within a Leicester City school from September 2026.
This is a great opportunity for a teacher seeking either flexible supply work or a longer-term position, with the potential for a permanent role. The successful candidate will be confident in the classroom, able to build strong relationships with pupils and deliver purposeful, engaging learning.
You will join a supportive school environment where maintaining high standards, encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils achieve their potential are key priorities.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering well-structured lessons in accordance with the primary curriculum
Teaching across KS1 and/or KS2, depending on your experience
Adapting teaching and activities to meet different learning needs
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Promoting good behaviour and clear expectations
Assessing pupil understanding and monitoring progress
Providing appropriate support and challenge to pupils
Working effectively with Teaching Assistants and wider support staff
Maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment
Following school policies and procedures, including safeguarding requirements
Contributing to pupils' wider academic and personal development
