You will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely, efficiently and on time while maintaining professional standards throughout your shift.Key responsibilities• Carry out Class 1 driving duties on night shifts• Complete deliveries and collections of palletised and general goods• Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects• Secure loads correctly and follow safe loading procedures• Complete delivery paperwork and relevant vehicle records• Comply with drivers’ hours, tachograph and road safety requirements• Maintain good communication with transport and warehouse teams• Provide a professional service to customers and other road usersSkills and qualifications• Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)• Valid digital tachograph card• Previous HGV driving experience• Experience with palletised or general haulage is advantageous• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and transport regulations• Reliable, safety-conscious and organised• Able to work independently on night shifts• Good communication and customer service skillsBenefits• £18.00 to £20.00 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersApply today.
