Hays Education is working with a number of primary schools across Ramsgate that are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teachers to join their teams.Whether you're an Early Career Teacher looking to strengthen your Key Stage 1 experience or an experienced practitioner searching for a new opportunity, we have a variety of roles available across supportive and welcoming school settings.

The Role

As a Year 2 Teacher, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils complete their Key Stage 1 journey and prepare for the transition into Key Stage 2. You'll support children as they develop confidence, independence and the core skills needed to succeed in reading, writing and mathematics.You'll create engaging and inclusive learning experiences, foster a positive classroom environment and help pupils build the strong academic and personal foundations needed for future success.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2

Can deliver creative and engaging lessons that inspire and motivate learners

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to supporting pupil progress and achievement

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, patience and a passion for primary education
