Help Young Learners Take Their First Steps in Key Stage 1

Hays Education is working with a number of primary schools across Ramsgate that are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teachers to join their teams.Whether you're an Early Career Teacher looking to develop your classroom experience or an experienced practitioner seeking a fresh opportunity, we have a variety of roles available across supportive and welcoming school settings.

The Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils as they make the important transition from Reception into Key Stage 1. You'll help children develop confidence, independence and the fundamental literacy, numeracy and communication skills that will support their progress throughout primary school.You'll create engaging and creative learning experiences, foster a positive classroom environment and support every child in reaching their full academic and personal potential.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

Can deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire young learners

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to supporting pupil progress and achievement

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, patience and a nurturing approach to the classroom
