Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealership in Caerphilly, for the position of HGV Sales Executive. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and professional HGV Sales Executive to join a growing business and enhance their career within the motor trade.

A HGV Sales Executive role offers competitive remuneration, excellent benefits, and the chance to work in a state-of-the-art environment covering the South Wales region (CF, NP & LD postcode areas). The successful HGV Sales Executive will be responsible for selling brand-new heavy goods vehicles, accessories, finance products, warranties, and related services to meet and exceed set targets.

Benefits:

- Basic salary between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum

- Uncapped 10% commission on retained profit, with potential to earn in excess of £80,000 annually

HGV Sales Executive Duties:

- Sell new heavy goods vehicles, accessories, finance options, warranties, and related products

- Keep customers informed regarding delivery progress and resolve any delays

- Handle customer queries and collect payments prior to vehicle release

- Explain warranty and service arrangements and introduce customers to the Service Department

- Demonstrate vehicle features and provide after-sales support

- Proactively prospect for new sales through follow-ups, referrals, and other methods

- Maintain accurate customer records in the database

- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs within a high-performance environment

Requirements:

- Significant experience in HGV/truck sales or a similar HGV/truck rental background

- Smart appearance and excellent communication skills

- Resilient and highly motivated with a strong sales focus

- IT literate and organised in workload management

- Valid UK driving licence is essential; an HGV licence (preferably Class 1) is advantageous but not mandatory

- Resilience and the ability to work under pressure
