The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum, creating a positive classroom environment and supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.

Key responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
- Supporting pupils of varying abilities, including those with additional educational needs
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, attainment and personal development
- Using a range of effective teaching and learning strategies to engage pupils
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs and wider school staff
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
- Contributing to planning, assessment and school-wide initiatives
- Supporting the wider development of pupils through extracurricular and pastoral activities
- Ensuring safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed at all times

The successful applicant will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Have a strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
- Be confident planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
- Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- Be able to build positive and professional relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
- Have excellent classroom management skills
- Be enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to supporting every pupil's progress
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Have the right to work in the UK
