Summary

What's involved with this role:

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Waste Data Officer to be responsible for delivering administrative support and assistance to the Domestic Waste Team, and ensuring service data compliance. Oversee and coordinate a designated team of Waste Support Assistants, ensuring effective operations and adherence to Council policy and legislation. Contract is for 3 months in Coventry.

Pay Rate: £14.82 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 30, 09:00 - 17:00 (flexible across 4 or 5 days)

Contract length: 3 Months

Location: Coventry, West Midlands, CV1 2GN

Hybrid Working – Minimum 2 office days per week

Key requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence, access to their own vehicle.

Previous experience within Domestic or Commercial Waste Operations.

Knowledge of waste management, recycling services and relevant legislation.

Experience supporting service performance, compliance or operational reporting functions.

Excel experience and confidence is essential.

Key responsibilities

Developing and maintaining management systems for reporting performance ensures Council compliance with statutory requirements, including Waste Data Flow and Environment Agency submissions.

Providing statistical data to aid in contract administration and oversight and in the procurement of new contracts via the procurement process

Coordinating and responding to Freedom of Information Requests and complaints related to the Household Waste, Recycling Centre, Bin Delivery and Bulky Waste.

Supporting budgetary inputs within financial systems for commercial and residential waste services effectively and accurately.
