Our client is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their dedicated team in a warm and welcoming nursery. This is a full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic early years professional who is ready to take the lead in shaping young minds while supporting a collaborative team of educators.
Located in a beautiful setting with fantastic outdoor play areas, this nursery provides a stimulating and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow—and where staff are supported and celebrated.
As the Nursery Room Leader, you will lead a room, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and wellbeing. You’ll manage daily routines, oversee planning and delivery of the EYFS curriculum, and provide support and mentorship to a team of practitioners.
What We're Looking For
Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) – essential
Proven experience in a similar Room Leader or senior practitioner role
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and safeguarding practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
A nurturing, positive, and professional approach to working with young children
Current Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a room of children aged 0–5, ensuring their safety, happiness, and development
Plan and deliver an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum in line with the EYFS framework
Supervise, guide, and inspire a team of early years practitioners
Build trusted relationships with children, families, and the wider community
Monitor, assess, and record each child’s progress and development
Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive learning environment
Support safeguarding and uphold all policies and procedures
