Hays Education is working with a range of primary schools across Ashford that are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teachers to join their teams.Whether you're an Early Career Teacher looking to develop your experience in Upper Key Stage 2 or an experienced practitioner seeking a new challenge, we have a variety of opportunities available across supportive and welcoming school settings.

The Role

As a Year 5 Teacher, you'll play a key role in preparing pupils for the final stages of their primary education. You'll help children develop confidence, resilience and independence while supporting them to build the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in Year 6 and beyond.You'll deliver engaging and challenging lessons, create a positive learning environment and encourage pupils to become motivated, ambitious and successful learners.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within primary education, ideally Key Stage 2

Can deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that promote pupil progress

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to helping every child achieve their full potential

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a passion for teaching
