Summary

We are recruiting for a prestigious employer within the motor trade industry in Reading, Berkshire, seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their busy bodyshop environment. Duties of an MET Technician:

- Conduct mechanical repairs and bodywork on allocated vehicles

- Dismantling, fault finding, and diagnostic work to identify issues accurately

- Re-assemble vehicles using new parts as required

- Perform inspections and testing to ensure vehicle safety and quality

- Identify faults or work that requires attention, prioritising safety considerations

- Safe and legal road testing of vehicles to confirm repair quality and road worthiness

Requirements of an MET Technician:

- Demonstrable experience as an MET Technician within a busy bodyshop environment

- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality work

- Full UK driving licence

- ATA or NVQ qualifications are preferred but not essential

- Time-served individuals with relevant experience are encouraged to apply

- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
