Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family-friendly independent garage in Reading, Berkshire, for the position of Vehicle Technician.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced vehicle technician to join a well-established business known for its supportive team environment and commitment to staff development.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct complex fault diagnostics and repairs

- Perform visual health checks and routine servicing

- Diagnose faults accurately and provide effective repair solutions

- Complete all digital paperwork with detailed reports

- Assist with MOT testing if holding a valid MOT licence

- Support workshop functions by working on varied vehicle types

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- NVQ Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably within a main dealer environment

- Alternatively, relevant time-served experience considered

- Full UK driving licence

- Own tools

- MOT licence advantageous but not essential
