We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established family-owned used car sales centre based in Preston, for the position of Assistant Sales Manager. The successful individual will join a reputable dealership dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality vehicles. This is an excellent Assistant Sales Manager opportunity for a motivated motor trade professional seeking a varied and hands-on role within a friendly, independent environment.

Duties of an Assistant Sales Manager:

- Assisting with the sale of quality used vehicles and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process

- Supporting vehicle presentation on the forecourt, maintaining high standards

- Organising and maintaining the vehicle pitch and managing vehicle collection/delivery when needed

- Assisting with sourcing and organising vehicle parts

- Supporting online marketing activities, including vehicle advertising and social media campaigns

- Ensuring efficient dealership operations on a daily basis

- Working closely with the owners to deliver exceptional customer experiences

Requirements of an Assistant Sales Manager:

- Previous experience within the motor trade, ideally in vehicle sales or related roles

- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to be involved in all aspects of the dealership

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Organised, reliable, and capable of working independently

- Full UK driving licence is essential

- Experience with vehicle advertising, social media, or digital marketing is advantageous but not essential
