We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent dealership in Workington for the position of Parts and Warranty Manager. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced automotive professionals seeking to advance into a supervisory position as a Parts and Warranty Manager.

The successful individual will oversee the parts and warranty department, gaining a high level of control and independence within a supportive environment. The Parts and Warranty Manager position is vital to ensuring efficient department operations and exceptional customer service.

Duties:

- Take full responsibility for the daily operations of the parts and warranty department

- Manage parts inventory, ensuring stock levels are optimal and costs are controlled effectively

- Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently, liaising with manufacturers and suppliers

- Maintain comprehensive records of warranty claims, parts orders, and stock movements

- Develop and implement departmental procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction

- Lead, support, and motivate team members within the parts and warranty department, fulfilling the leadership expectations of the Parts and Warranty Manager

- Stay informed of manufacturer policies and warranty procedures to ensure compliance as a Parts and Warranty Manager

- Support parts and warranty advisors in their development and daily tasks

Requirements:

- Proven experience in automotive parts and warranty management, ideally within a dealership environment

- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and develop a team

- Excellent organisational and administrative skills

- Effective communication skills, capable of liaising with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers

- Ambition to progress and develop into a senior or supervisory position

- Knowledge of dealership management systems and warranty procedures
