Summary

Service Advisor role for an experienced automotive Aftersales professional to join a busy and successful main dealership, acting as the key point of contact for customers throughout their vehicle service and repair journey. Excellent basic salary, strong OTE, manufacturer training and long-term career progression available.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence.

Salary: £34,000 basic per annum plus bonus, £45,000 OTE

Job type: Permanent / full-time role

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm, plus Saturdays on a rota basis

Service Advisor Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Service Advisor or within a similar automotive customer service role.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Strong organisational and time management abilities.

- Confident working within a busy, target-driven Aftersales environment.

- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and identify additional sales opportunities.

- Comfortable managing multiple customers and workshop bookings simultaneously.

- Previous main dealership experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

- Full UK driving licence.

Service Advisor Job role:

- Welcome customers professionally and provide an exceptional level of customer service.

- Act as the main point of contact throughout the vehicle servicing and repair process.

- Keep customers fully informed regarding repair progress and expected completion times.

- Book vehicles into the workshop and coordinate appointments efficiently.

- Recommend and upsell additional repairs and maintenance identified by Vehicle Technicians.

- Carry out pre-appointment customer calls and confirm bookings.

- Maintain accurate customer, vehicle and job records.

- Liaise closely with the Workshop Controller and Technicians to maintain an efficient workflow.

- Work towards individual and departmental sales, customer satisfaction and retention targets.
