Daily Pay Rate: £110 - 120

Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only), full-time

Start Date: September 1st 2026

Contract: Long-Term temporary, Temp to Perm

Are you passionate about making a real difference to children with additional needs? Long Term Futures are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming primary school in Oldbury, providing 1:1 support for pupils with Autism (ASC) and challenging behaviour.

Working closely with children who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), you'll play a key role in helping pupils develop confidence, regulate emotions, and engage positively in learning.

Responsibilities:

- Providing consistent 1:1 support for pupils with Autism and behavioural needs.

- Implementing EHCP targets and personalised behaviour strategies.

- Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour.

- Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.

- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families.

- Has experience supporting children with Autism and challenging behaviour.

- Understands positive behaviour management techniques.

- Is calm, patient and resilient in a primary school setting.
