Contract: Professional Services, Production & Technology
Location: Birmingham or home-based, with national travel required, including regular travel to Birmingham, Andover and London

We are seeking a UK&I HSE Advisor to support the day-to-day implementation of the UK&I HSE Management System (HSE-MS) across assigned sites and projects.
Acting as the primary HSET contact for local management and HSE Coordinators, you will help maintain, develop and improve health, safety and environmental standards throughout the portfolio.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced HSE professional with strong environmental and health and safety expertise, excellent communication skills and the ability to travel between Birmingham, Nottingham, London and Andover.
This role will involve cross-auditing at other sites, supporting compliance, and embedding HSE best practice across the contract.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of the UK&I HSE Management System, including drafting policies, procedures, guidance and training materials.
Design, deliver and implement strategic projects that support a positive HSE culture and compliance across the business.
Promote HSE awareness through communications, training and engagement with managers and staff.
Monitor, identify and advise on legislative, policy and procedural changes that may impact business operations.
Support the identification, assessment and resolution of HSE risks and ensure appropriate risk management measures are in place.
Conduct audits, inspections and cross-site reviews to verify compliance with the UK&I HSE Management System and report findings.
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and followed through.
Provide HSE advice and support to site management, HSE Coordinators, staff, subcontractors and external stakeholders as required.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Skills and Experience
Strong health, safety and environmental experience.
Proven knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation and management.
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
IOSH Technical Safety Practitioner (or equivalent).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective time management and ability to organise and prioritise workload.
Experience supporting workstation assessment and DSE-related issues.
Collaborative team player with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels.
Additional Requirements
Full UK driving licence.
Willingness and ability to travel to UK&I sites as required.
