This senior role will be responsible for identifying, managing and mitigating fabric-related risks, providing assurance to both the client and internal stakeholders that significant risks are effectively controlled and managed.

Job Description

Lead the annual risk-ranked programme of fabric surveys, inspections and assurance activities across a national estate.

Manage, assess and communicate fabric risk and criticality, translating technical findings into maintenance and investment priorities.

Oversee specialist technical suppliers, including building surveyors, structural engineering referrals, UAV survey providers and thermal imaging specialists.

Assure the quality, accuracy and governance of all survey outputs, reports and associated technical evidence.

Experience managing estate-wide fabric risk registers, criticality assessments, landlord and occupier liabilities, and client-facing risk reporting.

Demonstrable experience preparing Capital Investment Proposals and RASCO works demand packs across CAPEX, REVEX and OPEX programmes.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret survey findings and translate them into practical maintenance and investment solutions.

Experience managing specialist surveying and technical assurance suppliers.
