If your current job is running on worn tyres, held together with cable ties and promises of "things will get better," it might be time for a service.

Our client is a well-established independent garage that's been keeping the local community moving for over 50 years. They don't just look after their customers—they look after their team too. With 3-4 weeks of work booked in advance, there's no standing around wondering where the next job is coming from.

You'll be joining a close-knit team of four technicians in a clean, organised workshop with quality equipment, five ramps and your own dedicated workstation. No fighting over tools.

No working in a workshop that resembles an archaeological dig.

What's on offer?

• £45,000 - £55,000 basic salary

• Up to £10,000 annual bonus, paid quarterly

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

The Role

You'll be carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance across a wide range of vehicles. Whether it's tracking down an elusive fault or bringing a tired car back to life, you'll be trusted to do what you do best.

Who They're Looking For

They're after a top technician who enjoys doing the job properly.

Ideally you'll have:

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

• Experience in an independent garage (preferred)

• MOT Tester licence (great if you have one—but not essential)

• EV/Hybrid experience or qualifications (a bonus)

• Pride in your work and a good sense of humour
