What You'll Be Doing
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping children build confidence, enjoy learning and reach their potential. Depending on the school, you could be:
• Supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups.
• Assisting teachers with engaging classroom activities.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and building confidence.
• Working across EYFS, KS1, KS2 and Additional Learning Needs (ALN) settings.
• Helping create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
Who We're Looking For
You don't need to have worked as a Teaching Assistant before.
If you've supported children through previous work, volunteering, coaching, childcare, youth work, care work or similar roles, your experience could be exactly what schools are looking for.
You'll be someone who is:
• Caring and patient.
• Reliable and enthusiastic.
• Confident communicating with children and staff.
• Passionate about making a positive difference every day.
