The Opportunity
We are recruiting skilled, reliable Teaching Assistants with SEN experience to support a group of primary schools across Birmingham, covering:
- Sparkbrook
- Small Heath
- Bordesley Green
- Stechford
- Hodge Hill
- Shard End
- Erdington
- Castle Vale
- Castle Bromwich
These schools are diverse, community‑focused and require TAs who can support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech & language delays.

Your Role
You will be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with responsibilities such as:
- Providing 1:1 or small‑group SEN support
- Assisting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or communication needs
- Helping deliver tailored interventions
- Supporting classroom routines and behaviour expectations
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
- Adapting quickly to different classrooms and pupil needs
- Being available from 6:30am for same‑day bookings
Requirements
- Previous SEN experience (school‑based or transferable)
- Strong behaviour management and a calm, consistent approach
- Ability to support pupils across EYFS-KS2
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a new check
- Reliable, punctual and confident working across multiple schools
- Flexible, proactive and able to follow safeguarding procedures at all times
