Summary

Masstemps is currently recruiting for an experienced

CNC Programmer to join a well-established and busy manufacturing company based near the

West Bromwich area.

THE JOB:

. Operating, setting and programming HURCO CNC machines (e.g. milling, turning, or 3-axis machines) to produce high-precision components.

. Load and unload materials, tools, and fixtures safely and efficiently.

. Run production jobs according to job cards, route cards, and work instructions.

. Monitor machining operations and make basic offset adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy.

. Inspect finished and in-process components using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM (where applicable).

. Ensure components meet drawing tolerances, surface finish, and quality requirements.

. Identify, record, and report non-conforming parts in line with company procedures.

. Maintain accurate inspection and production records.

ABOUT YOU:

Experience programming, setting, and operating 3-axis CNC Hurco milling machines

Confident working with Fanuc controls (online programming) and Winmax (online) — essential

SolidCAM (offline) experience is a bonus, though training can be given if you're strong elsewhere

Comfortable working on bespoke, small-batch components across a range of materials

Able to assist with tooling, fixtures, and jig manufacturing when needed

Good attention to detail, with the ability to carry out quality checks and ensure parts meet spec

Hours of Work

Monday - Friday

07:30AM - 16:30PM

Pay Rate

£17 - £21ph dependant on experience.
