Pay: £12.75 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay

We're now recruiting Retail Assistants to join our team for the 2026 Christmas season.
THE ROLE
As a Retail Assistant, you'll help guests find the perfect gifts and souvenirs while delivering friendly, welcoming and efficient customer service.
You'll be working in one of our beautifully themed retail locations within the LaplandUK experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Welcoming and assisting guests
* Helping guests find products and gifts
* Delivering excellent customer service
* Operating tills and processing payments
* Replenishing stock and keeping displays well presented
* Maintaining a clean and organised retail environment
* Supporting the wider team during busy periods
* Helping create a magical experience for every family
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for positive, enthusiastic and reliable people who enjoy working with customers.
Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality or a similar customer-facing role is desirable, but not essential.
You should be:
* Friendly, confident and approachable
* Comfortable working in a busy environment
* A strong communicator
* Reliable and punctual
* Happy working as part of a large team
* Passionate about providing great customer service
AVAILABILITY
You must be aged 18 or over.
The season runs during Oct and Dec 2026.
We're looking for candidates who can commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including some weekend availability.
