THE ROLE
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you’ll help create magical memories for families visiting LaplandUK this Christmas. Working in our themed cafés and restaurants, you’ll provide a warm welcome, deliver outstanding customer service and help guests enjoy their visit from the moment they arrive.
You’ll:
• Welcome guests into our cafés and restaurants with a warm and friendly approach
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable guest interactions
• Prepare and serve food and drinks while following food hygiene and safety procedures
• Develop knowledge of menu items and make suitable recommendations to guests
• Follow LaplandUK service standards and immerse yourself in the magical story
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation
• Follow costume, appearance and operational guidelines
• Attend all required training sessions
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver an outstanding guest experience
SKILLS NEEDED
• Enthusiastic and passionate about creating magical guest experiences
• Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with families
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Reliable, professional and committed to delivering excellent service
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Willing to learn and embrace the LaplandUK story
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Previous food, beverage or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum age: 18
• Available for the full live event period from 5 November to 24 December 2026
• Available to commit to a minimum of three shifts per week
• Available to attend all required paid training between late October and early November 2026
• Comfortable working in a busy, customer-facing environment
• Able to follow food hygiene, safety, costume and operational standards
• Willing to fully embrace the LaplandUK experience and story

APPEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
• Natural hair colour
• No visible jewellery or piercings while in costume
• No visible tattoos from the collar bone upwards
• No tattoos below the elbow for Food & Beverage roles
• Natural makeup and nails in line with company guidelines
• Phones and smartwatches must be stored in lockers while on shift
