Summary
Candidates will provide compassionate, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Supporting clients with mobility and safe moving and handling, using appropriate equipment where required.
Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking when needed.
Prompting or administering medication in line with care plans and company policies (where trained and authorised).
Carrying out light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation.
Providing companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and promote wellbeing.
Monitoring and reporting changes in clients' physical or mental health to the office or appropriate healthcare professionals.
Maintaining accurate care records and documenting all care provided.
Following safeguarding procedures and reporting any concerns regarding abuse, neglect, or risk.
Adhering to infection prevention and control procedures, health and safety regulations, confidentiality, and company policies.
Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues to ensure high-quality, person-centred care.
