Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and the right support can make all the difference.

We're working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Hayes that is looking to appoint a Lead SEND Teaching Assistant to strengthen its dedicated SEND team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is ready to take on greater responsibility while continuing to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with additional needs.

You'll play a central role in delivering interventions, supporting classroom inclusion and working alongside staff to ensure pupils receive the personalised support they need to thrive.

As Lead SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll help create a learning environment where every child feels confident, supported and able to reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing specialist support for pupils with a range of SEND across the primary age range.

- Delivering engaging one-to-one and small group intervention sessions.

- Supporting children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH, sensory processing needs and moderate learning difficulties.

- Working alongside teachers to adapt lessons and remove barriers to learning.

- Helping implement and review EHCP targets and personalised support strategies.

- Monitoring pupil progress and sharing observations with the SENCO and wider teaching team.

- Supporting and encouraging fellow Teaching Assistants by sharing effective classroom strategies.

- Building trusting relationships with pupils and promoting confidence, resilience and independence.

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

- Strong experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school setting.

- A sound understanding of inclusive teaching practices and targeted interventions.

- The confidence to take initiative and work collaboratively with school staff.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A calm, patient and nurturing approach that helps children feel safe and supported.

- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

This welcoming school has built a strong reputation for its inclusive values and commitment to helping every pupil flourish.

You'll be joining a team that offers:

- Supportive and approachable senior leaders.

- A collaborative SEND department with experienced professionals.

- Regular CPD and opportunities to broaden your SEND expertise.

- Excellent resources to support high-quality interventions.

- A positive school culture where staff wellbeing and development are genuinely valued.

We specialise in matching experienced education professionals with schools where they can make a lasting impact.

When you join us, you'll benefit from:

- Competitive PAYE pay of £100-£110 per day.

- Weekly pay with no umbrella companies.

- A dedicated consultant who understands the SEND sector.

- Access to exclusive long-term and permanent education roles.

- Honest advice and ongoing support throughout your placement.

- A recruitment experience focused on your long-term career goals.

If you're an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
