We are looking for an experienced and professional Duty Security Manager to join our team based in Ryton, Warwickshire.
This is a full-time, site-based role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of security operations while ensuring the safety and security of our colleagues, customers, visitors, property, and assets.
As a visible leader on site, you will be responsible for supervising security personnel, coordinating shift activities, maintaining compliance with company and client procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service are consistently delivered.
This position would suit an experienced security professional who can demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the confidence to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
Ensure the safety and security of the site, its occupants, and its assets at all times.
Monitor access control systems, CCTV operations, and physical security measures in accordance with site procedures.
Remain vigilant, identifying and responding appropriately to suspicious activity, incidents, and potential security risks.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, visitors, colleagues, and external agencies.
Maintain awareness of all site activities and ensure security operations are delivered effectively.
Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Supervise, support, and motivate the security team, ensuring high standards of performance and professionalism are maintained.
Prepare duty rotas, allocate resources effectively, conduct team briefings, and provide coaching and development support to team members.
Investigate incidents, complete reports, and escalate matters where appropriate.
About You
Previous supervisory experience within a corporate or commercial security environment.
A valid Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence is essential, while a CCTV licence would be advantageous.
Strong leadership skills, including performance management, coaching, mentoring, and team development.
Excellent knowledge of physical security procedures, including access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and incident management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive under pressure.
Good IT skills, including experience using reporting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Existing Security Clearance (SC) or the ability to successfully obtain SC clearance.
