Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the design, automation, deployment and operation of secure and scalable cloud infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerisation and automation.
This is a hybrid contract opportunity, starting in the first week of September 2026, offering a rate of £275 per day Outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build and maintain scalable and resilient Azure cloud infrastructure.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing and deployment processes.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep.
Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
Configure and maintain Azure DevOps repositories, pipelines and deployment workflows.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and operational processes.
Implement monitoring, logging and alerting across applications and infrastructure.
Manage cloud security, identity, access controls and secrets.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and application performance issues.
Work closely with software engineers, architects, security teams and other technical stakeholders.
Support development, test, staging and production environments.
Improve platform reliability, scalability, security and deployment efficiency.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Rate: £275 per day
