Manage and support a team responsible for assessing and administering Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, and social care financial assistance.
Ensure compliance with current legislation, regulations, and government guidance.
Monitor team performance, quality standards, and service delivery targets.
Provide expert advice on complex benefit and financial assessment cases.
Maintain a customer-centred approach, ensuring vulnerable residents receive timely and accurate support.
Develop effective relationships with internal departments, external agencies, and stakeholders.
Support continuous service improvement and implementation of policy and legislative changes.
Contribute to the efficient management of resources, performance reporting, and operational planning.
