Benefits Officer needed in Harrow

This is a temporary role and the rate is £27.92ph PAYE

The successful candidate will contribute to a high‑performing, customer‑focused financial assessment service that delivers vital financial assistance to around 21,000 households, ensuring vulnerable residents receive accurate and timely support with rent, Council Tax and social care costs.

They will navigate and apply continually evolving regulations and guidance with confidence, maintaining excellent standards of compliance and service delivery. The successful candidate will play an active role in achieving maximum performance outcomes, providing precise assessments, supporting robust use‑of‑resources measures, and helping the service maintain strong overall performance ratings through accuracy, efficiency and a commitment to continuous improvement.
