Summary

Are you an experienced social care professional ready to step into a role that drives learning, accountability and system-wide improvement?

We have an exciting 12-month fixed term vacancy for a Safeguarding Review Co-ordinator (known internally as an Independent Management Review Co-ordinator) within the Safeguarding Team. This is a unique opportunity to influence practice at a strategic level, working at the heart of safeguarding to ensure that learning from the most serious incidents leads to meaningful change.

This is a high-impact role where your work will directly contribute to improving outcomes for vulnerable adults across Lincolnshire.

You will lead and co-ordinate Independent Management Reviews (IMRs) in response to Serious Adult Reviews (SARs), Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews (DARDR's) and other multi-agency safeguarding reviews. These reviews are critical in understanding what happened, identifying learning, and ensuring that agencies work more effectively together to prevent harm in the future.

This role sits at the intersection of practice, quality assurance, and strategic development, offering a rare opportunity to influence both organisational learning and system-wide safeguarding approaches.

Internally, this role can also be undertaken as a secondment. Please ensure your line manager is aware if you are applying for this role as a secondment opportunity.
